Elliot Sitbon (France)
Woody Van Tassel (France)
Elliot Sitbon offers us another aspect of adventure in his latest photographic endeavor. While in Seoul, he hears of a forgotten amusement park north of the city, called Yongma Land. A buzz of excitement in an increasingly modern metropolis: Exists a place whose disappearing elements no longer have the same effect. A wandering image in an area of high contrast amid the stillness of desolation, and the absence of a noisy carnival. Motion remains at an idle pace; a look into time is suspended. By the rough transcription of Google translate, the text mentions a context in which it's author is confronted by seeking the road to Yongma Land with his smartphone.
